Inge
was purchased from Rantzau Stud in Germany and was imported
to the U.S. as a two year. She is one of Tylord's best
foundation mares. She has produced thirteen high quality
foals that have gone on to be exceptional riding/performance
horses. She is an "Honor Roll Mare" with the ATA.
Her sire,
Radom
was successful in advanced level dressage and sired numerous
successful dressage horses. His last son and the "2000
Stallion of the Year" was EH Tuareg
(ES Tilsit III by Herzbube - Breeder Elke
von Lingelsheim). In addition,
Radom produced excellent broodmares. His get also jumped
well, and this was probably left over from the dam sire Kassius,
who was one of the breeds best show jumper producers (e.g. Schhard).
Inge's grandsire was the legendary
Trakehner Verband
approved stallion Mahagoni. He was Champion of his stallion performance test in
Germany. Mahagoni was ranked in the top
ten in the world for many years for producing
competitive CDI Grand Prix Dressage horses.
He was also sire of Olympic Bronze Medalist,
Peron. Mahagoni was later decorated with the
title "Sire of the Century".
Inge's maternal dam sire, Schabernack stood at stud in South Germany
at the famous Main Stud Marback in the state of Baden-Wurttemberg.
He had twelve approved sons, but Schabernack's true value
came through his many daughters.
