                         Chez Risette Farm News

                                                        ~2008~

June 18th: For those of you wondering how Timotheus is doing at Tylord Farm, he's thriving very well.
After living at Tylord for almost 2 1/2 months he is now referred to as "King Tim".

Tim's been spending a lot of time in the breeding shed.  He is being collected on a regular basis for all
of Tylord's broodmares (w/ the exception of some outside mares).  Tylord's broodmares are daughter's
and grand daughters to Enrico Caruso *Ps*E*,  Unkenruf, and Laiken.  Debra expects her 2009 foal
crop by Tim to be
exceptional.  She will be offering some of his offspring for sale in utero and as wean-
lings.  Please contact Debra at Tylord Farm for more information...

June 7th:  On June 5th at the age of  27 the wonderful stallion Butow *E* by Mahagoni out of Barina II
by Ricardo crossed over Rainbow Bridge.  Butow  *E*  started influencing my breeding program in 1996
when he sired my lovely mare Tristana out of Tapferkeit by Avignon II.  In 2007 he was grand sire to my
beautiful filly DeCapria  by Timotheus out of Deperla.  According to owner's Marcia Johnson and Nancy Cornelison of  Rolling Oaks Farm, Butow  *E*  had a "good life  and passed quickly without any stress". Godspeed Grandest of Gentlemen's...may you forever rest rest in peace.

May 29th:  Photo of DeCapria at a year romping around in the forest.

April 16th:  According to Debra, Tim has completely settled into his new routine and enviournment and
is quite happy and content with his new home at Tylord Farm...

April 7th:   Tim is settling in well at Tylord Farm.  After many days of confinement, Tim was turned out
to pasture for a few hours yesterday.  Running and bucking in the small amount of snow still left on the
ground, Tim loved being free. Calling out to the mares coming into heat letting them know he was avail-
able and ready for the breeding shed took up most of his free time!

April 6th:  News Flash!  Timotheus arrives safely to TYLORD FARM in the wee hours of the morning!
After being  picked up Tuesday,  April 1 by Bob Hubbard Horse Transportation, Tim traveled "first class"
across the US (3300 miles) in an air ride semi van to the beautiful 600 acre Tylord Farm in Benson, VT.
With only two twelve hour layovers, Tim spent the rest of the 6 days on the highway in a deeply bedded
8 x 9 box where he was allowed to be loose. Receiving daily updates on Tim's trip from his drivers, they  always reported that Tim was quiet, comfortable, & easy to handle.  Upon his arrival to Tylord where he
will stand at stud, Debra Tyler said "Tim looks good, but is of course, tired from the long haul."

January 1st:  Chez Risette Farm wishes everyone a VERY happy New Year filled with joy, peace, happiness, and lots of success!

                                                                    ~2007~

November 10th:  Donaudiva by Timotheus out of Donaumädchen *M* receives the HOY Award from
the American Trakehner Association for 2007 Champion Weanling Filly. Congratulations to everyone!

November 7th:  Deperla by Butow *E* o/o Donauperle by Tannenberg *E* crosses over Rainbow
Bridge.
My beautiful seven year old mare Deperla was sadly euthanized due to colic complications at
10:00 this morning.  Her legacy will be carried on by her lovely filly, DeCapria x Timotheus. Deperla was
an extraordinary individual and an excellent broodmare. She will be greatly missed.  "Rest in peace my
beloved friend"...

November 1st:   News Flash!  Timotheus  will stand at  TYLORD FARM  in Benson, VT for the 2008
breeding season.  He will remain in training with Eric Thomas until he leaves, and resume training once
he settles in at Tylord.  A SPECIAL 2008 INTRODUCTORY BREEDING FEE is being offered by Tylord
Farm and is now posted on Tim's Breeding Info page!

Standing  Timotheus in New England  will give East Coast  Breeders an opportunity to meet this
wonderful stallion and see some of his beautiful offspring!

October 27th:  Donaudiva alias "Diva" ranks  #1 with USDF  (All Breeds Award/weanling fillies), and
ranks
#2  Nationwide in the open  USDF HOY Awards - weanling fillies with a median score of  81.2%!
No doubt Diva is on her way to stardom!   Congrats to everyone, especially  to Donaumädchen *M* and
Timotheus
for producing such an awesome filly!

September 29th:  My trip to New England was fabulous! Visiting Debra & Ann at Tylord Farm & seeing
Tim's stunning 51/2 mo. filly "Aggie" was great.  Aggie's presence, charm, & personality was truly cap-
tivating and her movement was quite impressive. She has a beautiful topline and face with a big soft eye
and Tim's very "special" expression.

After my visit with Debra, I drove to Maine to visit Carol Poulin-Taylor and see her filly "Diva". Confident,
bold, and full of herself the elegant and very typey Diva definitely pulled at my heart-strings. All her gaits,  especially her big, expressive trot were incredible. Carol is extremely pleased w/ the cross and plans to
repeat the breeding. There are updated photos on Tim's Progeny page of  Aggie and Diva.

September 9th:  Updated photo of  DeCapria at 5 months on Tim's Progeny page.

August 29th:   Diva's a star again!   On August 25th she showed in-hand at the USDF Broadfields Breed Show in Pepperell, Mass. She was 1st with an 82.3% and 3rd in the Filly Championship Class. Congrats
to Diva's owner, Carol Poulin-Taylor!   Link is to some photos taken of Diva at the show.  She is #36

August 18th:  I'm planning a trip to New England at the end of September to meet some of Tim's foals. The
two farms I plan to visit are Tylord Farm in Vermont and Esprit EC in Maine. I've not been to Maine but I did spend time at Tylord Farm twelve years ago when I traveled to meet the legendary stallion, Enrico Caruso.

August 14th:  Updated  photos of Aggie at almost 5 months on Tim's Progeny page!

August 13th:  Congratulations to Carol Poulin-Taylor!  Her beautiful filly Diva by Timotheus scored 81.2%
at her first recognized Dressage Sport Horse Breed show.  Diva handled perfectly, leading the way with her mother following behind her in both walk and trot.   In fact, Diva has such a big trot,  Carol had a  hard time keeping up with her!  Photos on Tim's Progeny page.

of "  WOW, I can't wait to see pics!
